Brief History of machines There are many different types of vending machines or automatic retailing as it is also known as. There are snack, soda, Gumball, toys, coffee / tea, cakes, and hot soup vending machines, which are almost all, if we do. Machines arrived in 251BC when a greek mathematician invented a machine to sell the holy water in Egyptian temples. Many years after the first coin-operated vending machines were invented, the cards are issued in the early months of 1880 in London, England. Years later, Richard Carlisle, an English professor has invented a vending machine, which could be the books. Machines have come a long way. In 1888, Thomas Adams Gum Company introduced the vending machines in the U.S., and has sold all Fruitier rubber. Later, in 1907, the first round of Gumball Candy coated love that all children was introduced. Over the years it has been a machine for almost everything, cigars, stamps, postcards, cigarettes, soda and snacks. We still have some of these machines today.
