Arguments for and against
Arguments for and against Arguments for and against? Terry Dashner ?????.. Faith Fellowship Church PO Box 1586 Broken Arrow, OK 74013I? Lay on the line for you. I tell you what they say about the existence of God then I? I conclude my speech by saying that what I say on the subjects. So here go.I began with the ancient Greeks. Aristotle gave us the most systematic of the reasons to believe in God. " His philosophy, in tu, has influenced the doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church and its greatest theologian? St. Thomas Aquinas. D'Aquino, you may recall, we have five events of God? S existence: Motion? Grow and grow things on the one hand hidden in nature (God); causation? One thing is another, until you reach the first cause of all things is God, chance and necessity? things that exist in a network of relationships. Everything depends on something, but God. " Alcohol to be? The universe is a pyramid of beings at different levels of perfection. Worm to man for the angels of God, there is a continuum of creatures. And the number five is the govement of the world? Design of a universe speaks in a rational way, assistance, and ordered God.Thomas? A Posteriori tests (test God? S existence of exteal things) was solid throughout the Middle Ages and the Reformation, but the 19th century has reversed the situation. Philosophers such as Kant, Hume and Tore Issues in the design of a vendetta. Kant said that most, could be that the universe was an architect. To convert the architect of God, a theologian was to add the ontological argument. Later, scientists have begun to attack. Scientists argue that the design of the universe is apparently, but not the reality, and their appeal to Darwin or evolution. They recognize that the hands and eyes of people are marvels of engineering, but insists that is the product of millions of years of evolution. But Darwinism is not it? T every scientist? S rave. The development was rejected by biologists who say that it is not there? T time to take a place in the development of purely natural factors or chance in two billion years that life is supposed to exist on earth. It takes more faith, the theologian? S to believe that a bucket of dirt can tu into a horse in a matter of age. Then again against evolutionists: giraffe must push with a long neck to reach the leaves, feeding the deer needs to develop long, thin legs to run faster than its predator. These intra speak for adaptation and survival of the fittest. But on the other hand, in the absence of such a cosmic teleology existing connections. Evolution is not new. There is no necessary link between the distance of Earth from the sun and the amount of nitrogen on the surface of the earth. Once again, the probability or the possibility of producing variations in these conditions requires a great miracle and a great act of faith to believe in God (Beard L. Ramm, a Christian call to reason, World Book Publishers 1972). And then there's a Priori evidence (proof of God? S existence of things? Innate knowledge that God exists). Some have said that the God? There is an innate idea. Augustine and Calvin leaed that. Augustine says that God continues to put pressure on people. Man? S sense of finiteness is a way in which God himself is impressive to the man. But once again, the English philosopher John Locke (1632-1704), strongly attacked the concept of man with nature, or innate, a priori knowledge (Essay on human understanding, 1690). Time does not offer me the opportunity to list of other titles within God, l? Existence. But my word. For each declared positive, there is a thunderous reply. Now, let me tell you what I think about that. I think that are missing the boat when we focus on the proof of the existence of God by human intellect alone. I think the topic should change direction. I believe that Mr Ramm States well. He writes? The total weight of the biblical view of God is in a different direction. Writing is not an account of how man is God, but God sees man. The point of departure in Sacred Scripture is not the way the man or to work out the proof that God exists, either by evidence or logically organized an extraordinary experience, but it is God that man can enter and be itself known? (Beard L. Ramm, page 101). Therefore, the key phrase in Holy Scripture is not evidence of the existence of God but the true knowledge of God or the reality of God The Bible does not waste time trying to prove God? S existence through logic, but says its existence in the opening verse? In the beginning God? From this point on, the Scriptures show that the living God invaded human history and reveals himself to man. God is searching for the man and not the other around.I n? T have to do with the evidence of God? S existence. I can understand many arguments for the existence in each case. Most of them gives me a headache, trying to follow. But here's the good news. The God that I have not finished with my brain to understand its infinite ways. He comes looking for me. He gives me His Spirit to hear his voice and respond in faith. God comes to seek me. God reveals himself in the way they want to discover. You start the process. I have the opportunity to benefit from the relationship through Jesus Christ his Son. E? S simply faith? That? What God wants from me. Vive. His life makes a difference. I don? Need a t? Philosophy? of religion, when I can have a relationship with Jesus, the true vine. And you? You are connected to and consistent with the screw? Keep the faith. Stay the course. Jesus is soon.Pastor T. indent? The author pastors a small church.
